1.At least 9 years of accounting (post qualification) from the Big 4 / investment banking experience and ideally experience working within a corporate development team
2.If from an accounting firm, pre-requisite to be from the advisory team and not from Transaction Services or consulting
3.If from an investment bank, both M&A advisory and capital markets experience
4.M&A transaction experience (valuation, due diligence, preparing transaction documentation) with strong analytical and numerical skills
5.Intelligent, self-motivated, decisive, self-confident with a pragmatic solution driven / can do mind set, with the ability to motivate and influence others
6.Outgoing, personable and empathetic to the needs of colleagues across the Group
7.Proven team player with the ability to lead and to delegate as required
8.Strong willingness to work long hours to get the job done, under tight timelines. A passion for winning and achieving results beyond expectations
9.Committed to excellence in the production of work product, and maintain high professional and regulatory standards
10.Fluent and business proficient Mandarin speaker
11. Travel industry backgroud is preferred

Job Description:
1. Identify and oversee the delivery of strategic business opportunities, as well as co-ordinate internal teams and external advisers where appropriate.
2. Build a close relationship with our internal departments, product deparment and marketing department.
3. Identify and assess complex issues associated with the strategic opportunity and develop simple, workable and pragmatic solutions for such strategic opportunities.
4. Be able to clearly articulate these complex issues and the decisions made by being able to explain to non-experts.
5. Influence and bring various stakeholders together with a view to delivering the strategic opportunities.
6. Managing the preparation of internal transaction materials for the CEO of the China.
7. Nurture and develop relationships with advisory group, and source be able to source new strategic opportunities from them.
8. Known and recognised by broader finance as a solution driven individual.
9. Brings the various stakeholders across the business on the journey to deliver the strategic opportunities.
10. Seen to own and lead projects, and connect the business with group objectives and goals.
